What looked like a promising Friday of sunshine and cheery post-shower rainbows turned into a freezing start to hell week today. Just three weeks into the spring semester and I'm already convinced Tech is doing its best to kill us all over again. It's hard to look forwards to this weekend when on my calendar it looks like an inky, depressed slug crawled all over February 1-8 and died.

Plus, now it's too chilly to include this beauty in my weekend ensemble. Thanks to a tip from Cole, I found this piece at the Metro thrift store in Lawrenceville, and for only a crazy $3, it's firmly entered my heart and my favorites list. It's a Banana Republic sweater, made of incredibly airy and loose-knit cotton, paired in this photo with a (barely visible) creme lace dress. I wore it in a shoot the other week, hopefully I'll have photos soon. Right now it looks so pretty hanging around the room, when I'm not wearing it I want to use it as room decor!
